Media Accreditation is Now Open

With the 2026 FISU World University Championship Beach Sports just days away, the Organizing Committee has announced that media accreditation is now officially open.

From 17 to 22 September, Figueira da Foz will host around 600 student-athletes, coaches, and officials from 31 nations, competing in Beach Volleyball, Beach Soccer, Beach Handball, and Beach Wrestling. Journalists, photographers, and videographers wishing to cover the event on-site can now apply for accreditation ahead of the opening ceremony.

Accredited media will be granted access to official competition venues, mixed zones, press conferences, and dedicated event materials, ensuring full coverage of the six days of competition on the Figueira da Foz sands.

Interested media professionals are invited to submit their accreditation request through the Official Accreditation Form.

Applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
